Why wash my carpets?

Summary: absolute rubbish don't waste your money
Comment: this is the most useless carpet cleaner i have ever used spray water and use it to suck up spills ,that it does NOT i had to really press down hard WITH force with both hands did it suck any water up? no it did not, not one drop it sucked up some dust and all you get is a damp patch,buy a proper carpet cleaner or hire one

Comment: Vax Spot Scrubber Handheld Carpet Washer
I wouldn't be without this item! I have cream carpets, two dogs and a man about the house who sometimes forgets to wipe his feet! You fill the tank with a mixture of water and cleaning fluid and store it in a handy place ready to use when you need it! It's excellent if you spill anything or your pet has an accident. You just set it to the suction mode and firstly remove the liquid/mud from the carpet, then you spray the area with the solution, switch to scrubbing mode and it gently massages the solution into the pile, turn it back to suction mode and it removes all traces of the liquid and the stain! It is quick, easy and very efficient, worth every penny! I have read some of the other reviews and i suspect in some instances an industrial strength carpet cleaner would be more appropriate but for everyday spills and the odd accident, this is ideal!

Summary: Not bad - but don't expect the world
Comment: brought this scrubber as we had got a new puppy. Certainly saved us having to get our full sized carpet cleaner out. Not the worlds strongest machine - but certainly did what we wanted and helped with "little accidents"

Summary: The chocolate teapot of hand vacs!
Comment: The bristles are too soft and do not have enough surface area actually making contact with the surface. The suction from the vac is hardly enough to take away the water, and this results in very wet surfaces after use.
Having used other Vax products, which are normally high standard, this does not come close to what it sets out to do.
Avoid - stick to a firm brush and a bowl of water.
