Summary: Very heavy and noisy

Comment: I bought this to replace my Dyson I only got it because it was going cheap, I used it for 5 minutes and hated it, its so heavy and doesn't turn very well, its got stupid coaster wheels on the back and its so noisy, a very high pitched sound that just gives you a headache! My legs ached after I had finished, believe me I am no lightweight! I put it back in the box and took it back and thankfully got a refund. 2 days later my lovely Dyson DC07 arrived, I will definately be sticking with Dysons in the future.

Summary: Noisy, heavy and design flawed

Comment: I bought the Vax 060 as a replacement for my longstanding Dyson that eventually packed in. I have had it for a few months now and just cannot bear it any longer. Incredibly heavy, I have to work up the energy to even move it out of the way (I am no lightweight myself used to lugging heavy things about but I draw the line at the vaccuum!). The noise is also unbearable. There is a high pitched noise that really attacks my ears - moreso than any other vaccuum I have used in the past. The attachments must have been designed by someone who has never vaccuumed in their lives. I have to get on my hands and knees to get into tight corners because there are no bends in the attachments - they are just straight. It has now decided not to pick up (not for the first time) so I've decided that it has to go - I have spent more time shouting at it and trying to fix it than I have vaccuuming. Comment: great hoover for dog hair but beware of using on small carpets as will suck up and shred! Lovely big bagless container but hoover is quite heavy
